In short
- Our server opens the public pages you ask about and sends the result to your browser.
- We don't save the addresses you check or the results.
- No account, no API keys, no tracking of what you check.
01How checking works
Browsers can't read other websites directly, so when you check a site, our server requests the public files and pages needed (for example robots.txt, sitemap.xml or the page itself) and passes them to your browser. Our requests identify themselves as “K2WebTools” and come from our hosting provider, not from you.
We don't store the addresses you enter or the results. Our server keeps a short-lived count of requests per IP address to prevent abuse, and our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs for a limited time.
02Help form
If you use the “Need help?” form, we receive the details you enter (name, email, optional phone, topic and message) and use them only to reply, as described in our Privacy Policy.
