Privacy Policy

K2 Web, based in Pune, India, decides how your personal data is used (the “data fiduciary” under Indian law). Contact: pketu916@gmail.com.

Our browser-based tools (such as the screenshot editor, password generator, typing test, age calculator, QR code generator, signature generator and spin the wheel) process your files and inputs on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see them. The background remover's Fast mode sends a smaller copy of your photo to our server for a few seconds to remove the background and never stores it; its On my device mode keeps the photo in your browser.

To work, a tool may download code, fonts, word lists or an AI model from our website or a named provider (for example, the background remover's model from Hugging Face). Your browser may keep a copy (cache) so the tool opens faster next time. You can clear it from your browser settings.

The What is my IP tool reads your IP address on our server to show it to you and asks ipify.org for your IPv4/IPv6 address; it does not store them. Each tool has its own privacy notice with the details.

Data you give us

• Email updates (“Notify me”): your email address and which updates you asked for.
• Contact and help forms: your name, email, optional phone or WhatsApp number, topic and message.
• Suggest an idea: your idea and, if you choose, your email.
• We also record the date and time and which page the form was sent from.

Data collected automatically

• Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for a short time to keep the site secure and working.
• We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If we add analytics later, we'll update this policy first.

• To reply to your message or help request.
• To send the updates you asked for (for example, when a new tool launches). Every email lets you unsubscribe.
• To consider your ideas and improve our tools.
• To prepare quotes and deliver website projects you ask for.
• To prevent spam, abuse and misuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We process your data based on the consent you give when you submit a form, and for legitimate uses allowed by law (such as responding to legal requests or preventing fraud). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. This doesn't affect what we did before you withdrew it.

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site:

• Supabase: database where form submissions are stored (servers in Mumbai, India).
• Google: Google Sheets (a copy of form submissions) and Gmail (to reply to you). Google may store data outside India.
• Our hosting provider: serves the website and keeps short-term security logs.

We may also share data if the law requires it, to protect people from harm or fraud, or as part of a business transfer (in which case this policy continues to apply).

• Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
• Contact and help messages: up to 24 months, or longer if needed for an ongoing project or legal reason.
• Ideas: as long as they're useful to plan our tools. Ideas without an email are not linked to you.
• Server logs: kept by the hosting provider for a short period, usually a few weeks.

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The database only allows the website to add new entries; reading them requires a private admin login. No method is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct, complete or update it;
• delete it;
• stop sending you emails (use the unsubscribe link or email us);
• nominate someone to act for you if you are unable to.

Email pketu916@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to confirm your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days.

For any complaint about how we handle your data, contact our grievance officer at pketu916@gmail.com with the subject “Grievance”. We will acknowledge it within 72 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.

Our site is not meant for children under 18 to submit personal data without a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal data without consent, email us and we will delete it.

We'll update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes, we'll also notify people on our email list.
