Diwali bomb game privacy notice

Last updated: 2 November 2026

How the diwali bomb game handles your data. This adds to our main Privacy Policy.

In short

  • The sparks and sounds are made on your device. Nothing is recorded.
  • When you send a link to a friend, we save the names and message you typed with the link.
  • We count visits, shares, link opens and how many crackers are dropped, and where visitors came from.

01Sending to a friend

Your name, your friend's name and the message are optional. The link carries them after a # sign, so they aren't sent to our server or to analytics when someone opens it. When you create a link, we also save them with the link and a random id in our database (Supabase, Mumbai, with a copy in Google Sheets) so we can count how many friends open it. Anyone with the link can read the message.

02What we count

For each visit we save a random visit id, whether you came from a friend's link, and a running total of crackers dropped, taps and fireworks shows, plus the page you landed on, the referring site, campaign tags (utm), your device type and browser, and an approximate city and country. We don't store your IP address. To have saved data deleted, use the “Need help?” form.

03On your device

Your name is kept in your browser's local storage (k2-bomb-name) so you don't have to type it again. Clear site data to remove it.

04Help form

If you use the “Need help?” form, we receive the details you enter (name, email, optional phone, topic and message) and use them only to reply, as described in our Privacy Policy.
