In short
- Check your own websites, or public sites you have a good reason to check.
- Don't use it to overload, scan or attack websites, or to get around access controls.
- Results are a guide only. Search engines and AI companies decide for themselves what they crawl and index.
- K2 Web is not responsible or liable for how you use the Tool or its results.
01What the Tool does
The Tool finds and reads a website's public XML sitemaps (including sitemap indexes), lists the URLs and checks them for common problems. On request it also checks each URL's HTTP status.
02Allowed use
You may use the Tool for lawful, honest purposes, for example:
- checking and improving your own websites and your clients' websites;
- learning SEO, and comparing public websites for research.
03Prohibited use
You must not use the Tool, or anything it produces:
- to send automated or bulk requests through the Tool, or to use it as a proxy or scraper;
- to scan for security weaknesses, or to reach private, internal or password-protected systems;
- to overload or disrupt any website.
- to break any law in India or your country, or to help anyone else do so;
- with bots, scripts or automated requests that overload or misuse the Tool or the website.
04Accuracy and changes
The Tool follows public standards (such as the robots.txt standard RFC 9309, the sitemaps protocol and the llms.txt proposal) and the crawler names that companies publish. Search engines and AI companies can change their crawlers and rules at any time, and some crawlers don't follow robots.txt at all.
Test any robots.txt, sitemap or llms.txt before you publish it. A wrong robots.txt can remove your whole site from search results.
05Your responsibility
You alone are responsible for how you use the Tool and its results, and for checking that results are right for your purpose. Results are produced automatically and may be wrong or incomplete.
06We are not responsible
The Tool is free and provided “as is”, without any warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, K2 Web:
- is not responsible or liable for any use or misuse of the Tool or its results, by you or anyone else;
- is not responsible for lost traffic, rankings or indexing caused by files made or changes suggested by the Tool;

You agree to indemnify and hold K2 Web harmless from any claim, loss or cost (including legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Tool or your breach of these terms. Our total liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.
07Changes and governing law
The Tool may change, pause or stop at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.
