01Everything stays on your device
Passwords, passphrases and PINs are created with your browser's built-in secure random number generator (Web Crypto). Passwords you type into the strength checker are analysed locally. None of this is sent to K2 Web or anyone else, logged, or saved. It's gone when you leave the page.
02Clipboard
The Tool only writes to your clipboard when you click a copy button. Clear your clipboard after pasting on shared devices.
03Word list
Passphrases use the EFF long word list by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (CC BY 3.0 US), loaded from our own website. Loading it doesn't send any information about the passphrases you make.
04Help form
If you use the “Need help?” form, we receive the details you enter (name, email, optional phone, topic and message) and use them only to reply, as described in our Privacy Policy.
