In short
- Passwords are made on your device. We never see, send or store them.
- You're responsible for keeping your passwords safe.
- Strength figures are estimates, not a guarantee of security.
- K2 Web is not responsible or liable for how you use the Tool or its results.
01What the Tool does
The Tool creates random passwords, passphrases and PINs in your browser, and estimates how strong a password is. Strength and crack-time figures are estimates based on common assumptions, not guarantees.
02Allowed use
You may use the Tool for lawful, honest purposes, for example:
- creating passwords for your own accounts, devices and Wi-Fi;
- checking how strong your own passwords are.
03Prohibited use
You must not use the Tool, or anything it produces:
- to guess, crack or break into accounts, devices or systems you don't own or have permission to test;
- to build password lists for brute-force or credential-stuffing attacks;
- as part of any fraud, unauthorised access or other illegal activity.
- to break any law in India or your country, or to help anyone else do so;
- with bots, scripts or automated requests that overload or misuse the Tool or the website.
04Keep your passwords safe
To get the most from a strong password:
- use a different password for every account, and store them in a trusted password manager;
- turn on two-step verification (2FA) where you can;
- don't share passwords by message or email, and don't generate them on shared or untrusted computers.
05Your responsibility
You alone are responsible for how you use the Tool and its results, and for checking that results are right for your purpose. Results are produced automatically and may be wrong or incomplete.
06We are not responsible
The Tool is free and provided “as is”, without any warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, K2 Web:
- is not responsible or liable for any use or misuse of the Tool or its results, by you or anyone else;
- is not responsible for lost, forgotten, leaked or stolen passwords, or for any account or data you lose access to;

- gives no promise that the Tool is accurate, secure, error-free or always available.
