Typing test Terms of Use

The Tool shows you words to type and measures your speed in words per minute (WPM), your accuracy and related numbers. It runs in your browser. Speed is calculated using the common standard of five characters per word.

Results depend on your device, keyboard, browser and settings, and can differ from other typing tests or exams. They are for practice and personal interest only.

• Results and result images are not a certificate, qualification or official record.
• Employers, schools and exam bodies should use their own tests. Don't rely on these results for hiring, admission or grading.

You must not:

• edit, fake or misrepresent a result or result image, or present it as an official certificate;
• use bots, scripts, macros, auto-typers or other tools to type for you;
• overload, copy, scrape, or interfere with the Tool or the website.

The Tool is provided “as is” without any warranty of accuracy or availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, K2 Web is not responsible or liable for any loss, missed opportunity, decision or consequence arising from your use of the Tool, its results, or any misuse by anyone.

You agree to indemnify K2 Web against claims arising from your misuse of the Tool or breach of these terms. Our total liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.

Typing for long periods can strain your hands, wrists and eyes. Take regular breaks, and stop if you feel pain or discomfort.

The Tool is free and may change, pause or stop at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
